The baritone saxophone is generally the largest
and lowest-sounding saxophone found in most performing ensembles. BMC has a great selection of bari saxes to
suit all levels of players: student, intermediate, and professional. The size and weight of the baritone
saxophone makes it an unlikely candidate for a first saxophone, but many sax
players will give it a try by the time they reach high school. When purchasing a bari sax look for a model
that includes a low A key, is durable, and comes with a sturdy case. Two excellent examples of bari saxes are the
Yamaha YBS-52 and the Selmer BS500. The
bass saxophone is not as well known as the baritone and does not appear quite
as often. BMC proudly carries the
Selmer Paris 56 Series II Bass Saxophone, which is perfect for the professional
musician.
