flugelhorns to purchase the perfect instrument! Since most flugelhorn players start playing the instrument after
playing trumpet for a few years, manufacturers tend to make two categories of
the instrument: intermediate and
professional. Intermediate flugelhorns
usually have a seamless two-piece bell, Monel pistons, and clear lacquer. Step-up flugelhorns are available in
silver-plated finish, like the King 650SP if the player prefers a brighter
sounding instrument. All of BMC’s
flugelhorns, including such models as the Yamaha YFH-2310 and the Bach
“Aristocrat” FH600 come with a case and a mouthpiece.
