BMC takes the guesswork out of purchasing your
first trombone! The trombone is a brass
instrument pitched in Bb, with a cylindrical bore. It uses a slide to change pitches rather than valves, as are
found on the trumpet or cornet. Student
trombones, like the Bach TB301, should have clear lacquer, which is durable and
resists corrosion. The slides on
beginner trombones should be nickel-silver and should move without resistance. BMC carries several brands of student level
trombones, including Yamaha, Bach, Conn, and King. These brands were chosen for their pleasant tone and excellent
craftsmanship.
