Meet the staff at BMC….   Bruce Treidel:  Managing Director Btreidel@bmcmusicsource.com  Bruce founded BMC in 1984. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education. He has been actively participating in music education, both public and private since 1972.  Through his unique perspective he has been able to create an organization that places a strong emphasis on the needs of the student musician.   Bruce’s background includes more than 30 years of musical instrument repair and rebuilding.  He is a strong advocate for the benefits of music in education.  Bruce’s main instrument is trumpet and he is proficient in nearly all the instruments offered in the store.  His experience as a public school teacher has been invaluable in the development and direction of BMC.   “Music is such an important part of our lives.  We are exposed to it from the moment we are born until the moment we pass away.  We use it while we get ready in the morning, to change our mood, to get ready for sports, to help us to relax and much more.  A stronger appreciation of music enhances our lives each and every day.”   Dana Treidel:  Customer Service Director, Print Music Specialist Dtreidel@bmcmusicsource.com  Dana is in charge of the sheet music and gift inventory at BMC, as well as maintaining the level of professional, friendly customer service you have come to expect from BMC.  Over the last 30 years, she has been involved in customer service and has developed a strong background in both corporate and small business environments. Through her expertise in printed music and product knowledge she adds a valuable dimension to BMC.  Dana is a member of RPMDA (Retail Print Music Dealers Association) and maintains close relationships with all the major music publishers.  She is the person to call on if you are looking for print music assistance, and if she doesn’t know the answer she knows who to ask.  Dana also coordinates special projects for BMC.  She is the one to speak to if you want a special musically themed party for your child or are looking for that musically themed gift.  Many of the local public and private music educators find her an invaluable resource. “I love seeing how far our former students have gone in their lives.  We have students that have become research scientists helping to cure diseases and others who are professional musicians and everything in between. ”    Jessica Bardelli:  Director of Sales, Director of School Services at BMC Jbardelli@bmcmusicsource.com Jessica began her career with BMC in 2002. She has been an instructor and an educational consultant, and after a brief move to Charlotte, NC, has returned to the store as the Director of Sales.  Jessica is responsible for School Services at BMC, inside and outside sales, and in-store marketing.  Jessica began playing the clarinet in 1991, and has since become accomplished in all woodwind instruments as well as piano. When she’s not visiting local schools or re-arranging the store, Jessica enjoys singing with her church choir and traveling.  She is happiest when sharing her love of music with all of her customers and educators!   John Larson:  Instrument Repair Technician Jlarson@bmcmusicsource.com  \Since joining the BMC team in 2008, John has provided our customers with his expertise in Guitars, Basses, and Brass instruments. John has been certified for instrument repair by NEMC, and continues his education and training under the tutelage of the owner, Bruce. Being an accomplished session player on guitar, bass and trombone, John has an understanding of recording technology and can assist his many customers in their recording endeavors. John also works with the School Services division as a consultant.  In his spare time he can often be found perfecting his craft of repairing instruments, composing music, and playing in his band, Forget Paris.  John is a valuable resource to his customers and co-workers alike at BMC.   Albert Norasing: Sales Consultant, Web Master Anorasing@bmcmusicsource.com  Albert joined the BMC team in 2008 as an instructor, and has since become a member of the sales team.  He is responsible for web maintenance and marketing, along with in-store sales.  Albert is an expert in fretted instruments and a computer-whiz.    His enthusiasm and sense of humor make him an entertaining member of the staff.  In his spare time he plays and writes his own music, and enjoys playing video games. Sarah DeShan:  Lesson Coordinator, School Services Consultant Sdeshan@bmcmusicsource.com  Sarah is BMC's newest arrival, having just started in 2009. She is responsible for lesson scheduling and attendance for the School of Music at BMC, as well as organizing the group lessons, guitar workshops and various ensembles.
